Funeral services for Cynthia “Cindy” Bailey, 56, of Gouverneur, were private through Green Funeral Home, Gouverneur.
Mrs. Bailey died Monday, July 12, 2010 at her home.
Cynthia was born on March 9, 1954, in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from high school in California and had received degrees in the health care field from SUNY Canton.
Cynthia was married to Preston Bailey, and the couple have lived in Gouverneur since 1998.
Mrs. Bailey had worked as a nurse in Los Angeles, for CENTREX in the Utica area, and most recently at River Hospital in Alexandria Bay.
She is survived by her husband Preston; two sons, Michael and Matthew Bailey, both of Gouverneur; and a brother, Paul Janzen, of Nevada.
Memorial donations may be made to the Gouverneur Vol. Rescue Squad or Richville Vol. Fire Department.
